Vice-President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr. Suljo Mustafić met today with the founder and President of the Rif Group, Mr. Paige Rif and the Vice-President of the Group, Mr. Bane Enis

They exchanged opinions on the current political affairs, as well as the role of the Parliament and political actors in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro.

The significance and the role of the Parliament in the process of democratic transition were pointed out, as well as its role in strengthening the rule of law and other institutions in Montenegro.

It was pointed out that the strengthening of social dialogue on all open issues in Montenegro in that regard and on the process of Euro-Atlantic integration is needed.

Vice-President Mustafić expressed his full support to Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro, emphasising that he considered the process of European and NATO integration to be complementary, leading to a long-term stability of the region, and creation of conditions for economic development.

Additionally, they emphasised the significance of a public debate on Atlantic integration, as well as communication strategy to familiarise the citizens with this process, which is of essential significance for the future and development of Montenegro.
