“Without the freedom of media and secure environment for their work, Montenegro will be more distant from its Euro-Atlantic path.

We must not allow ourselves from the country which has been a regional leader in integration to become recognisable as a country where journalists and free word are being continuously attacked.

The state has urgently to show its strength and capability to make its citizens safe, in the same time guaranteeing the right to information.

Thus, efficient and quick opening of this and other cases of attacks on representatives of media has to be a priority of relevant institutions. That is the only way the state of Montenegro to show that media is one of the foundations  of democratic processes and that we are undoubtedly and solidly on the Euro Atlantic path.

The only way for healing the wounds of journalist Nikčević and all other representatives of free speech is a just punishment for cruds who attack from the dark of  lawlessness”.
