President of the Parliament of Montenegro and OSCE PA Mr Ranko Krivokapić received today H.E. Ms Oksana Slusarenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Montenegro. Mr Krivokapić pointed out that the international community should guarantee sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. “At these moments which are especially hard for Ukraine and its people, we need additional wisdom and mindfulness in decision making”, said Mr Krivokapić.

Ambassador Slusarenko expressed the gratitude of Ukraine to President Krivokapić for his endeavours and contribution to dialogue and peaceful resolution of the situation, through his position as the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. “Ukraine now needs those with rich experience in international politics, such as you, and someone who has experienced the complexity of this situation, such as the one in Yugoslavia in the 90s”, said Ms Slusarenko and invited President Krivokapić to visit Ukraine.

President Krivokapić accepted the invitation with gratitude, stating that the OSCE PA was working on the case of Ukraine with dedication, and that he would soon officially visit Kiev.
