Montenegro and the Republic of Austria have good bilateral relations, which should be focused towards improving economic co-operation, presidents Krivokapić and Fisher noted during the meeting.

"The Republic of Austria is an important partner of Montenegro, not only in the European Union, but also as a country that has always understood our foreign policy goals", President Krivokapić pointed out. He also said that constant work on strengthening the rule of law was the prerequisite to welcoming investors from Austria, a country with strong economy.

President Fisher expressed satisfaction with the success of our country on the European path, and said that Austria was a friendly country, willing to help in our process of integration.

Interlocutors emphasized that the cooperation between the two parliaments was intensive and very fruitful. One of the most successful projects of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Austrian Erste Foundation has also been the project "Democratic Workshops".
