On behalf of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, I would like to congratulate you on being elected as the President of Ukraine. The Parliamentary Assembly, on behalf of the OSCE, provided its strong contribution to the process of monitoring the Ukrainian election. Our mission, consisting of more than 100 members of the parliaments of the OSCE member states, witnessed indisputably fair and transparent election, and thus the legitimacy of your victory. The outcome of this election has shown that the Ukrainian people clearly aspire to democracy, unity and stability.

Your election as the President of Ukraine is also the need to resolve all significant challenges, as well as to strengthen inner security and stability of Ukraine. I believe in your ability to provide a response and resolve numerous challenges that lie before you and your people. Now is an important moment to work in the best interests of Ukraine and its people, as well as to initiate necessary constitutional reforms.   

The OSCE plays a unique and vitally significant role in Ukraine, so rest assured that you will have the support of the OSCE PA in your future endeavours in order to attain the highest goal of the OSCE – to have a united and stable Ukraine.“
