During the meeting between the President Krivokapić and the Ambassador Fischer, it was jointly agreed that relations between Montenegro and FR Germany are traditionally good and strong, especially in the field of Euro-Atlantic integration.

On this occasion, President Ranko Krivokapić expressed gratitude to Ambassador Fischer for his personal contribution to strengthening relations and ties between Montenegro and Germany during his mandate in Montenegro. "Germany has always paid attention and commitment towards Montenegro and its path to NATO and the EU. Parliament of Montenegro and German Bundestag have very active cooperation in the parliamentary diplomacy and in the exchange of knowledge and experience", stated Krivokapić during a farewell visit of the Ambassador Fischer.

Ambassador of FR Germany to Montenegro H.E. Pius Fischer emphasized and praised the openness of our Parliament. Ambassador Fischer assessed the contribution of the Parliament of Montenegro given to the overall process of Euro-Atlantic integration as very important, and stressed that he was really pleased with the close and active cooperation between our Parliament and the Bundestag.
