The President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr. Ranko Krivokapić met with the PACE Observation Mission Delegation which will monitor presidential elections

PACE observers praised Montenegrin legislative election framework and expressed belief that forthcoming presidential elections will be fair and free.

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr. Ranko Krivokapić received today in Podgorica the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) observers which will monitor the forthcoming presidential elections in Montenegro.

Interlocutors assessed the cooperation between Montenegro and PACE as very good and expressed belief that it would be further developed and promoted through various forms.

PACE observers praised Montenegrin legislative election framework and expressed belief that forthcoming presidential elections scheduled for 7th April would be fair and free.

”I am positive that citizens will express their will in fair manner, and that they have real picture after arguments expressed by the candidates, to choose wisely”, said the President of the Montenegrin Parliament.

The President Krivokapić said that elections should be a moment when democracy confirms its importance and citizens their trust in it.
