President Emeritus of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Ranko Krivokapić will participate in Washington DC, in the United States of America, in the first of three events devoted to the future of the OSCE, which he initiated and launched as the President Emeritus. This is the first of three segments which will bring together a number of senior officials from countries of the OSCE region and beyond, which will be held not only in Washington but also in Stockholm (Sweden) and Moscow (Russian Federation).

President Ranko Krivokapić will participate in the Annual Parliamentary Hearing at the United Nations, which is organized each year in New York by the Inter-Parliamentary Union in cooperation with the UN. This year, the Inter-Parliamentary Union Hearing at the UN will be dedicated to global challenges of economic and social inequality of population, human rights protection, poverty and challenges facing the governments in order to ensure sustainable development.  

In addition to basic obligations of the OSCE PA President Emeritus, on this occasion President Krivokapić as the President of the Montenegrin Parliament will also use this visit for numerous meetings.
