President Krivokapić and H.E. Ambassador Whitting pointed out that Montenegro and the UK actively cooperated and exchanged experiences in fields important for the process of Euro-Atlantic integration and fostering democracy.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Ranko Krivokapić expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for a friendly and constructive position towards Montenegro. Also, President Krivokapić reiterated that we are focused in the coming period on the rule of law and fostering institutions that are the bearers of this process. "We need the rule of law for us, for the state and for the secure future for all, and it is also one of the most important requirements in our foreign policy priorities on the path toward NATO and the EU," said Krivokapić.

H.E. Ambassador Whitting stated that the United Kingdom recognized and appreciated the clear goals of Montenegro regarding the NATO and the EU integration. He stated that Montenegro will have the support of UK institutions in this process, especially in the coming year, which is crucial for NATO integration.
