“Dear citizens,

Family and warmth of home are the most beautiful places where I want you to spend the upcoming days, fulfilled with energy of support and love. Together with our close ones, we build universal values of respect and understanding of differences, thus making ourselves a part of the community and the society which creates good and strives for better.

We all together make a society which should be proud of the civic spirit of its state. We should protect Montenegro and its multinational and multiconfesional soul particularly in this time, perserving what is its solid ground on which it proudly resist temptations.

I wish a good health, peace, personal and family happiness to all of you who celebrate Christmas according to the Julian calendar. May you be stronger than passing human weaknesses and new challenges. With mutual trust and understanding we should enter the year which will ask from us to be stronger and more prepared for steps on the path of strengthening justice and human warmth.
