President of the Parliament receives Ambassador of Hungary to NATO

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić today has received H.E. Mr Péter Sztáray, Ambassador of Hungary to NATO.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić and Ambassador Péter Sztáray devoted the conversation to NATO integration of Montenegro, which is particularly important in this year.

Since Hungary has recently overtaken the role of NATO contact point embassy for Montenegro, President Ranko Krivokapić says that we are looking forward that the state which is still close to us, will carefully monitor Montenegro and assist it in its NATO commitments. “NATO is our foreign policy priority and the entire system is intensively focused on fulfilling obligations of integrations. I refer particularly to the rule of law – which we need for ourselves, and it is one of key conditions for the NATO”, Mr Krivokapić stressed.

Ambassador Péter Sztáray assesses that Montenegro has been achieving a constant progress in Euro-Atlantic integration, and repeats that this is the year when NATO partners are focused on our state and steps to the goal - receiving the invitation to join the Alliance. “You should count on friendly support of Hungary”, Mr Sztáray concluded.
