President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ranko Krivokapić, said after a meeting with ambassadors that Montenegro was small but an important factor in the victory over fascism, and therefore part of the message which was the essence of the existence of the European Union. The Parliament has fulfilled its obligations quickly and efficiently, Mr Krivokapić said, and added that commitment of institutions of the state in creation of results was now crucial, primarily in the area of the rule of law.

Head of the EU Delegation, Mr Mitja Drobnič, thanked for the attention the President Krivokapić payed to the representatives of the EU countries on the eve of the Europe Day. Mr Drobnič said that he spoke with Mr Krivokapićabout upcoming obligations that awaited Montenegro on its path towards the EU.

- Montenegro is currently in the phase of establishing all the institutions necessary for the implementation of laws, and part of that process are concrete results as well, Mr Drobnič said after the meeting.
