President Ranko Krivokapić expressed gratitude for all the support and understanding that the Hellenic Republic gave and had towards Montenegro on its Euro-Atlantic path.
The interlocutors emphasised that Montenegro and Greece had traditionally good and intensive friendly relations at all levels, and that there was still room for further strengthening, which would be used in the upcoming period.
President Krivokapić informed Minister Kotzias on the efforts and results achieved by our country while awaiting the NATO membership invitation, as well as on the integration process towards the European Union. President Ranko Krivokapić also pointed out the role of the Parliament in these processes, as the institution which was constantly raising its constitutional capacity, aimed at strengthening the democracy and the rule of law.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Mr Nikos Kotzias said to Mr Krivokapić that Greece was giving strong support to our country in the Euro-Atlantic integration, and that Greece was willing and ready to demonstrate its support through various forms of sharing experiences and experts.
The interlocutors agreed that Montenegro was on a good path, and that it was necessary to hold a high level of dedication towards the joint Euro-Atlantic goals, as a necessary requirement for NATO and EU membership.
