For countries such as Montenegro with centuries long endurance, and a young democracy, holders of prosecutor’s offices have a special role and duty in the overall maturing of the system founded on the sense of justice and security.

The Parliament of Montenegro pays full attention to and cares for all parts of the state system tasked with preserving the foundation of the state. The latests constitutional amendments have brought us greatest so far independence in work and decision-making of the Prosecutor’s Office, which has created a good basis from which a strong institution of courage, knowledge, and resolution to fight all social deformations should be built.

A great task rests with you and I dare say an eternal fight for a society of the rule of law. You are the ones that should be a caution and a source of fear from the law equal for everyone to everyone in our society.  The results of your work are much more than the interest of our Euro-Atlantic partners, on whose path the rule of law has an imperative nature, they are the strength in raising the bar of the sense of justice in Montenegro.

To be a prosecutor is an honour, but also a duty that should be upheld by the members of the legal elite - and that is not an easy burden for a man in a small society such as the Montenegrin. In that you receive the greatest protection and strength from the Constitution, the law, and certainly in the Parliament of Montenegro.
