President of the Parliament receives the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia

Friendly and substantive relations between Montenegro and the Republic of Slovenia on all levels were emphasised

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić today received H.E. Mr Mitja Močnik - the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia.

During the meeting, friendly and substantive relations between Montenegro and the Republic of Slovenia on all levels were emphasised.

President Ranko Krivokapić used this opportunity to express to Ambassador Močnik feelings of gratitude for everything Slovenia has done and continues to do on Montenegrin Euro-Atlantic path. “In these important and I would say great historic steps of Montenegro, it is especially important to have partners who not only support you, but understand you, know you, and do everything with good will and intentions. The closeness of our two countries, the historic ties, and stepping towards the joint EU‏ destiny give us great political and social capital”, said Mr Krivokapić.

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia Mr Mitja Močnik expressed enormous pleasure that his new mandate was beginning precisely in Montenegro, the country at NATO’s door, and the country holding a lead position in EU integration in the region.
