During the meeting, friendly and substantial relations between the Parliament of Montenegro and the National Assembly of Hungary were pointed out. It was estimated that the relations of the two parliaments were an example to others.

Mr Krivokapić voiced his pleasure over the continuous and selfless support and assistance provided by Hungary to Montenegro in achieving its strategic goal, i.e. integration to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

In line with the recent visit of Mr Ranko Krivokapić to the National Assembly of Hungary, conversations were continued in the spirit of joint diplomatic and political success, based on the same value system and advocacy for stability and peace of the entire region of the Western Balkans.

At the meeting they also discussed the strategic steps that would stimulate developmental path of Montenegro in the fields of tourism, industry, and investment.

Mr Nemet expressed distinct support to Montenegro’s path towards the NATO Alliance, as well as optimism regarding its receiving of invitation at the December meeting.
