The media is the most transparent part of the general state of freedom and vitality of democracy. As part of the social elite, you have that special obligation to bear the burden of maturing of democracy and be the corrective and a careful follower of social processes.

The media scene today is overwhelmed with challenges and impacts of different structures that have only one goal – submission of the journalistic profession and freedom. Talking about freedom today and the independence of the media may sound like utopia, but professionalism, ethics and objectivity are the pillars of your profession that must be preserved and defended.

During these four years of work and activities in the Balkans you have become part of the overall mosaic of media pluralism, and not only that - with your example you have enabled many to measure with you in insisting on standards and the rules of the profession.

On behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and my own behaf, I congratulate to you your only first four years of work, with gratitude for giving pulse to the lifeline of any democracy - free public."
