President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić today received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Mr Edward Nalbandian.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić welcomed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Mr Edward Nalbandian and voiced pleasure over the cooperation that Montenegro and Armenia have been nourishing. 

The interlocutors exchanged opinions on current political situation, frozen conflicts of the Republic of Armenia and recent developments on Montenegrin political scene.

They assessed that the base for the development of every state, and advanced international cooperation, lies in strengthening of the rule of law that promotes economic development.

The interlocutors agreed that it was necessary to improve the cooperation between these two countries, starting with strengthening of parliamentary cooperation - by establishing friendship group of Montenegrin and Armenian Parliament.

Minister Edward Nalbandian thanked for the reception, supported the progress and wished luck to President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić and citizens of Montenegro.

President Ranko Krivkapić stated that Montenegrin Parliament was open and ready for intensifying parliamentary dialogue with Armenia, which should result in better understanding and cooperation.
