President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić voiced his pleasure over the achieved cooperation between the Parliament of Montenegro and the French National Assembly, both with representatives of the lower house and of the upper house, and pointed out that he was looking forward to any further cooperation between the two countries.
Chairperson of the European Affairs Committee of the lower house of the French National Assembly Ms Danielle Auroi thanked him for the reception and voiced her pleasure over coming to Montenegro, a country continuously supported by France on its European and Euro-Atlantic path.
President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić estimated that the full-fledged membership in the Euro-Atlantic Alliance was a step that would contribute to stability of Montenegro and the region.
Chairperson of the Committee Ms Danielle Auroi pointed out that Montenegro was important to the European community and therefore it needed to progress on its European path. She thanked President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić for his contribution in the security domain of Montenegro.
The interlocutors agreed that the rule of law was a foundation on which the stability of the country rested. President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić pointed out that free and fair elections were vital in the process of democratisation of a society.
President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić emphasised pleasure over continuous assistance given by France to Montenegro in achieving goals of its European and Euro-Atlantic path.
