The visit was aimed at familiarisation with the previous activitiesof the Municipality within the Capital City Golubovci as well as implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Parliament of Montenegro and the Union of Municipalities.

- The Agreement on Cooperation between the Parliament of Montenegro and the Union of Municipalities is aimed at better efficiency of both local parliaments and the state parliament, with great responsibility of both. Because of that, as the top man of the Parliament, I would like to be informed on the problems that the citizens in local communities are facing, in order to reach the best legal solutions. The state institutions must be open to citizens, said President Pajović.

He pointed out that a great chance for Municipality of Golubovci laid in agriculture but also in tourism, considering the protected natural area the National Park Lake Skadar.

- As someone who exceptionally appreciates the significance of protection of nature, of flora and fauna, I believe that we have a clear common signal and message, and that is that devastation of these areas must not be allowed, because it is a great fortune of Montenegro, added Mr Pajović.

President of the Municipality within the Capital City Golubovci Mr Dušan Radonjić pointed out gratitude for the adopted legal acts, among which he distinguished the Law on Communal Activities, the Law on Local Self-government, and the Law on Legalization of Informal Structures, which, as he emphasised, had been in parliamentary drawers for years.

During his visit to the Urban Municipality of Golubovci, President Pajović also visited one of the largest agricultural producers in Zeta.
