Ambassador Zhiwei congratulated to President Pajović on successful takeover of the one of the most important state functions, in the period very significant for Montenegro. The Ambassador pointed out that active atmosphere and hard work of the Parliament of Montenegro in the past two months was obvious.

The President thanked to the Ambassador for ten years of understanding, support and cooperation of the People's Republic of China with Montenegro. The interlocutors agreed that there was room for further strengthening of cooperation in the fields of common interest, in accordance with the needs of the state development of the two states.  Ambassador Zhiwei invited President Pajović to visit the People's Republic of China in the upcoming period.

Bearing in mind the strong commitment of President Pajović to achieving progress in the field of environment, the Ambassador proposed stronger cooperation in that field through concreate projects.

At the meeting, the President informed the Ambassador on results of the Parliament of Montenegro's work in the past two months, emphasising its important role in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration, but also in implementing the Agreement on the Government of Electoral Trust.
