At their 39th meeting held today, the Legislative Committee considered and positively voted on the following proposals for a law: Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants; Proposal for the Law on Interest Write-offs on Tax and Customs Duties; and the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Corporate Profit Tax.
In accordance with Article 67 paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee did not consider the following proposals for a law: Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Social Security Agreement between Montenegro and the Republic of Croatia; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Labour; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Foreign Investments; Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on State and Other Holidays; and Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Tax on Insurance Premiums, submitted by the MP Aleksandar Damjanović;
Additionally, the Committee stated that the conditions for formulating the revised text of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro had not been met, until the solution was found to eliminating the inadequacy spotted in a provision of the Rules of Procedure, during the work on formulating the revised text of the Rules of Procedure.
