Legislative Committee holds its 132nd meeting

The Committee considered several proposals for laws and Proposal for the Decision on granting a long-term lease of Island Lastavica with fortress “Mamula”

At its 132nd meeting held today, the Legislative Committee considered and positively voted on the following:  Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Deposit Protection Law, submitted by MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović; Proposal for the Law on on Personal Bankruptcy of Consumers, submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović; Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Ports, submitted by MPs Ms Draginja Vuksanović and Mr Andrija Popović; Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Law on Health Care, submitted by MPs Mr Strahinja Bulajić and Mr Emilo Labudović; and Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Social and Child Welfare, submitted by MPs Mr Strahinja Bulajić and Mr Emilo Labudović.

Proposal for the Decision on granting a long-term lease of Island Lastavica with fortress “Mamula”, Municipality Herceg Novi, did not obtain the necessary majority of the Committee members.

In accordance with Article 67 paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee did not consider:
Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code, submitted by MP Ms Snežana Jonica, and  Proposal for the Decision on Supplement to the Code of Ethics for MPs, submitted by MPs: Mr Srđan Milić, Ms Snežana Jonica, Mr Aleksandar Damjanović, Mr Radosav Nišavić, Mr Danko Šarančić, and Ms Danijela Marković;

Upon request by the proposer of the law, voting was postponed on the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Social and Child Welfare, submitted by MPs: Ms Azra Jasavić, Mr Srđan Perić, and Mr Goran Tuponja.
