Legislative Committee holds its 143rd meeting

Committee considers several proposals for laws

At the meeting that was held today, members of the Committee considered and expressed positive opinion regarding the following: Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Agreement on State Borders between Montenegro and the Republic of Kosovo; Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Treaty on State Borders between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina; Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Sectoral Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the European Commission determining rules on governance and implementation of the EU financial assistance in Montenegro within the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance in Rural Development (IPARD); Proposal for the Decision on Accepting Annex No. 1 to the Lease Contract of the hotel "Kraljičina plaža" Budva and Proposal for the Decision on granting a long-term lease of Island Lastavica with fortress "Mamula", Municipality of Herceg Novi.

Proposal for the Law on settling obligations towards the workers of Bauxite Mine JSC Nikšić who retired due to bankruptcy of the company, submitted by MPs Mr Aleksandar Damjanović and Mr Mladen Bojanić, did not obtain majority required.

Committee considered the following amendments:

- 3 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Customs Service, submitted by MP Mr Goran Tuponja;

- an amendment submitted by MPs Mr Zoran Jelić and Ms Marta Šćepanović; 2 amendments submitted by MP Mr Srđan Perić; 3 amendments submitted by MPs: Mr Srđan Perić and Mr Goran Tuponja and 9 amendments submitted by MPs: Mr Srđan Perić, Mr Džavid Šabović, Ms Branka Bošnjak, and Mr Radosav Nišavić to the Proposal for the Law on Health Care;

- an amendment submitted by MPs: Mr Zoran Jelić, Ms Marta Šćepanović, Mr Halil Duković, Ms Maida Bešlić, Mr Jasmin Sutović, and Mr Radovan Obradović; 2 amendments submitted by MPs Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Srđan Perić; 4 amendments submitted by MPs: Mr Izet Bralić, Mr Džavid Šabović, and Ms Draginja Vuksanović; 7 amendments submitted by MP Mr Srđan Perić and 10 amendments submitted by MPs: Mr Srđan Perić, Mr Džavid Šabović, Ms Branka Bošnjak, and Mr Radosav Nišavić to the Proposal for the Law on Health Insurance

In accordance to the Article 67 paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee did not consider the following amendments:

- an amendment submitted by MPs: Ms Branka Bošnjak, Ms Jelisava Kalezić and Ms Ljiljana Đurašković; 1 amendment submitted by MP Mr Emilo Labudović; 5 amendments submitted by MPs: Mr Srđan Milić, Mr Radosav Nišavić, and Ms Snežana Jonica; 6 amendments submitted by MP Mr Srđan Milić to the Proposal for the Law on Health Care;

- 3 amendments submitted by MP Mr Emilo Labudović; 3 amendments submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović and 8 amendments submitted by MPs Mr Srđan Milić, Mr Radosav Nišavić, and Ms Snežana Jonica to the Proposal for the Law on Health Insurance.
