At its twentieth meeting held today, the Legislative Committee considered and positively assessed the following proposals for laws: Proposal for the Law on ratification of the Optional Protocol on Communication Procedures to the Convention on the Rights of the Child; Proposal for the Law on ratification of the Convention on the Law of Non-Navigational Uses of International Watercourses and Proposal for the Law on Prevention of Illegal Business Operations;

In addition, the Committee considered and positively assessed 3 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax, submitted by the Government of Montenegro.

Upon the request of MP Genci Nimanbegu, as a proponent of the Law, the Committee did not consider Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Territorial Organization of Montenegro.
