At its fifteenth meeting held today, the Administrative Committee initiated the procedure for appointment of one member of the Senate of State Audit Institution by issuing a public notice via daily newspapers: “Pobjeda”, “Dan”, “Dnevne novine” and Independent Daily Newspapers “Vijesti” and site of the Parliament as well.

In line with the decision on special advisors to the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee rendered a decision on compensation to Mr Đorđije Malović, former advisor to the Vice President of the Parliament, due to termination of his mandate.

The Committee continued its work on procedure of consideration the Proposal of the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interest for initiating the motion of dismissal, suspension or imposition of disciplinary measures against Mr Basri Lika, member of the Fund for Protection and Exercising of Minority Rights, discussing on that occasion the Information of the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interest regarding the answer of Mr Basri Like on the reasons for not submitting the Income and Property Report after his appointment to public office. With regard to that, the Committee decided the voting on this issue to be postponed for the period after termination of possible procedure before Administrative Court. During the meeting, the discussion on two letters of the regional misdemeanour authority in Podgorica no.  14859/12-9 of 19 July 2013 and no. 14862/12-26 of 12 September 2013 for the purpose of submitting the information whether the mandate of members of the Fund Mr Miroslav Marić and Mr Avdul Kurpejović ceased after the change of the legal entity name from “Minority Fund” to “ Fund for Protection and Exercising of Minority Rights”. With regard to that, in line with competences of the Parliament  established by the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure, the Committee declared itself as not competent for giving an authentic interpretation and noted that it conducted the procedure regarding the election of the Management Board of the Fund for Protection and Exercising of Minority Rights ("Official Gazette of Montenegro", no. 13/08, 66/06 and 64/11), in accordance with the Decision on the establishment of the Fund for Protection and Exercising of Minority Rights. Under the item "Current Issues", the Committee also got acquainted with the Information on the decisions rendered within the jurisdiction of the Administrative Committee in the period between 14th and 15 Committee meetings
