29th meeting of the Administrative Committee held

The Committee established eight proposals for the decisions

At their 29th meeting held today, the Administrative Committee, upon proposal by the MP Group of Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro, established six proposals for the decisions. With that regard, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro the following:

 - to appoint the MP Nikola Gegaj as a member of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants;

- to appoint the MP Nikola Gegaj as a member of the Gender Equality Committee;

- to appoint the MP Marta Šćepanović as a member of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration;

- to appoint the MP Veljko Zarubica as a member of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget of the Parliament of Montenegro; 

- to appoint the MP Zorica Kovačević as a member of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro; and

- to appoint the MP Obrad Mišo Stanišić as a member of the Committee on European Integration;

 
Additionally, the Committee established two proposals for the decisions upon the proposal of the MP Group of Albanian parties (FORCA, DP), HGI and LPCG. With that regard, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro the following:

- to appoint the MP Nik Gjeloshaj as a member of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget of the Parliament of Montenegro; 

- to appoint the MP Nik Gjeloshaj as a member of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro.

With regard to the submitted resignation of Mr Andrej Nikolaidis to the position of Advisor to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, in relation to Article 9 paragraph 8 of the Decision on Special Advisors in the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee decided to issue a decision on dismissal from the position of special advisor and, in accordance with Article 9 paragraph 3 of the Decision on Special Advisors in the Parliament of Montenegro, issue the appropriate decision on  compensation in the amount of earnings that he had in the last month of performing service, with appropriate adjustments, lasting for up to a year. 

In continuation of the procedure for appointments for the Council of Radio Television of Montenegro, the Committee formed a Working Group that would establish a list of timely and complete applications for membership to the Radio and Television of Montenegro Council.

The Committee was also informed on the Request by Mr Goran Đurović, a candidate for membership to the Radio and Television of Montenegro Council, of 10 March 2014, to include the candidates from the field/category in which the proposers of NGOs were authorised, in the work of the Working Group for assessing documentation of applicants for appointment to the Radio and Television of Montenegro Council.

Within current issues, the Committee was also informed on the obligation of the Administrative Committee, as the competent body of the Parliament of Montenegro for elections and appointments, to appoint the Municipal Election Commission in permanent composition, for implementation of the first local elections for councillors in the Assembly of the newly-formed municipality of Gusinje, among the candidates proposed by the political parties, which meet the requirements to propose the representatives in the permanent composition of the Municipal Election Commission stipulated by the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs.
