At its 36th meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of 25th Convocation gave positive opinion on the Rulebook on Amendments to the Rulebook on Internal Organisation and Systematisation of Professional Service of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms, no. 01-305/2014 of 8 May 2014.
In accordance with Article 67, paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Šućko Baković, Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms and Mr Ivan Krkeljić, first advisor to the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms participated in the work of the meeting, as proposers of the act.
Upon the proposal of MPs from the Democratic Front, number 00-63-14/14-77 of 3 June 2014, the Committee established two proposal for decisions. With regard to that, the Committee has decided to propose to the Parliament as follows:
- MP Emilo Labudović to be elected as a member of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro; and
- MP Milutin Đukanović to be elected as a member of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro.
Additionally, upon the proposal of MP Group of the Social Democratic Party, the Committee has established the Proposal for the Decision on appointing one member of the Jury for presenting Trinaestojulska nagrada (award). The Committee proposed to the Parliament to appoint Mr Ilija Vujošević as a member of the Jury for presenting Trinaestojulska nagrada.
Within the item “current issues”, the Committee decided, at one of the following meetings, to:
-continue the procedure of appointing the State Election Commission;
-initiate the procedure for appointment of two members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media, from among candidates of nongovernmental organisations and candidates form Montenegrin P.E.N; and
- initiate the procedure for election of the Commission for Prevention of Conflicts of Interest.
Within the item “current issues”, the Committee got acquainted with the Official Letter by Mr Goran Đurović and Slavica Striković, candidates for members of RTCG Council, no. number 00-63-14/14-4/82 of 25 April 2014.
