Administrative Committee holds its 46th meeting

The Committee determined the Proposal for the List for the appointment of two members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media per authorized proponents

At its 46th meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation determined the Proposal for the List for the appointment of two members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media per authorized proponents, NGOs from the field of media and Montenegrin P.E.N. Center, upon Public Notice No. 00-63-14/14-84 of 25 August 2014.
The Committee proposed to the Parliament to appoint Mr Darko Ivanović, candidate of NGOs from the field of media, and Mr Mladen Lompar, candidate of Montenegrin P.E.N. Center, as two members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media.

Within continuation of the procedure for appointment of the Chairman and two members of the Council of the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data, upon Public Notice No. 00-63-14/14-164 of 11 November 2014, the Committee also decided to continue with procedure following the obtaining of the copy from the criminal records under the name of registered candidates, issued by the Ministry of Justice.
Under the item of the agenda “Current issues”, the Committee members were informed on the Objection of Mr Borislav Globarović to the appointment of member of the State Election Commission of 10 November 2014, and declared themselves incompetent regarding this issue.
The Committee was also informed on the letter by the Senate of the Old Royal Capital of Montenegro of 24 November 2014, and it declared itself incompetent regarding this issue.
The Committee was also informed on the Request of former MP Mr Dragoslav Šćekić for adopting a new decision on termination of rights upon termination of office, ending with 30 March 2014, and decided to adopt the appropriate decision.
