The Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation, at its third meeting held today, decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to elect MP Mr. Džavid Šabović from the parliamentary majority as the member of the Judicial Council.
The Committee stated the submitted proposals of candidates for appointment of the President, Secretary and nine members of the State Electoral Commission. In that regard, due to a dilemma of several MPs in relation to which Party was entitled to have the position of the Secretary of the State Electoral Commission, and in terms of the Article 68 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee turned to the State Electoral Commission with a request, apropos the results of the election of MPs to the Parliament of Montenegro, to deliver the information on a political party that came second per number of the seats won at the Parliamentary elections held on 14th October 2012.
At the proposal of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapić, and at her personal request, Ms. Jelena Popović was dismissed from duty of the advisor to the President of the Parliament. Also, at the proposal of the President of the Parliament, Ms. Jelena Mitrović was appointed to duty as the advisor to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro.
The Committee made the following two decisions: Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Establishment of the level, manner and procedure of purposeful spending of funds allocated for MPs clubs for hiring the Secretary and expert consultants of the clubs, No. 00-63-14/12-25/4 and the Decision on Determination of Salaries and Allowances of the President and Secretary of the State Electoral Commission, No. 00-63-14/12-30/16.
Deciding upon the request by the MP Mr. Almer Kalač, the Committee gave consent that the appointee may sign a contract on additional work with the company “Akos” DOO Rožaje, Society for Urbanism, Designing and Construction.
