At its 57th meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation, upon proposal of the MP Group of Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro, has determined three proposals for decisions, and decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to:
- elect MP Mr Vuk Roćen as member of the Committee on European Integration of the Parliament of Montenegro;
- elect MP Mr Vuk Roćen as member of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture of the Parliament of Montenegro;
- elect MP Mr Vuk Roćen as member of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms of the Parliament of Montenegro.
Upon proposal of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić, the Administrative Committee has decided to nominate Mr Dragan Božović, MA of political sciences, to the position of Advisor to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro.
Within the item of the agenda “current issues”, members of the Committee were informed on the Information of the previous President of the Council of the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information Mr Šefko Crnovršanin on exercising the right to pension and in that respect termination of right to compensation upon termination of office, prior to the determined time limit (11 December 2015), in accordance with the Law Governing the Wages of the State and Public Officials.
The Committee was also informed on the submitted Statement of Mr Zlatko Vujović, candidate for a member of the Agency for Electronic Media, submitted upon request of the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interests, in accordance with the request of the Administrative Committee for providing opinion, with regard to the Official Letter by Mr Boris Raonić, President of the Civic Alliance, submitted to the Administrative Committee with regard to the indicated suspicion that Mr Zlatko Vujović, candidate for a member of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media, is in conflict of interest. Bearing in mind that the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interests has still not submitted the opinion on the possible conflict of interests of Mr Zlatko Vujović as candidate in the process of appointing members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media, the Committee concluded that the conditions were not met for continuation of the process of determining the proposal for the list for appointment of three members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Media by authorised proposers.
Members of the Committee were also informed on resignation of MP Mr Borislav Banović from the position of member of the Senate of the Old Royal Capital due to his taking of another office, and they decided to propose one of the representatives of the Parliament of Montenegro at the next meeting of the Committee.
At the end of the meeting, the Committee members were also informed on other activities from within the competencies of the Committee, related to issuing of decisions between two meetings.
