Letter of Condolence on tragedy of crashed helicopter
President of the Parliament of Montenegro and a member of the Security and Defence Council of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić sent a letter of condolence to Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ms Maja Gojković and the citizens of Serbia, regarding the tragic death of seven persons, who died in a helicopter crashed during a rescue mission of a baby with life-threatening problems.

At today's meeting of the Secretaries General of European Union Parliaments and candidate countries, which was being held in Italy this year, the country which chaired the European Union during the second half of the last year, several issues had been reviewed important for the work of national parliaments, especially from the point of adopting higher quality legislation at the EU level and the role of parliaments in controlling the principle of subsidiarity, in accordance with the Treaty of Lisbon.

Upon the invitation of Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Albania Ms Arta Dade, Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Suljo Mustafić, on behalf of the Committee on International Relation and Emigrants, participated in the Conference which took place in Tirana. During the Conference, representatives of foreign policy committees and officials of regional countries shared opinions and experiences aimed at coordination of joint activities in the field of Western Balkan’s European integration.

A documentary play Seven was performed at the Main Stage of the Montenegrin National Theatre last night. “Seven” is a documentary play, performed for the first time in 2007. The documentary play is based on interviews with seven activists for women's rights from: Nigeria, Afghanistan, Guatemala, Russia, Pakistan, Northern Ireland and Cambodia.
