Legislative Committee holds 60th meeting

At its meeting held today, the Legislative Committee considered and positively assessed the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs, submitted by the following MPs: Milutin Simović, Goran Danilović, Almer Kalač and Ljerka Dragičević.

Research on conversance and application of the Law on Gender Equality was conducted in 68 institutions and parliamentary parties in Montenegro, during the second half of 2013. 

At its 28th meeting held today, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports adopted the Report on study visit of theCommittee Delegation to the Republic of Finland. The visit was assessed as very successful. 

Visit is a part of the project “Open Parliament”

Gender Equality Committee  of the Parliament of Montenegro is organising tomorrow, 21 March, at 11:00 a.m., the presentation of the “Second research on conversance and application of the Law on Gender Equality in institutions of Montenegro”. 

Completed discussion on Proposal for the Law on Basic Principles of Intelligence and Security Sector of Montenegro.

At today’s preliminary meeting, they discussed the proposal for the agenda of the eight meeting of the European Union – Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC), which is to be held in the Plenary Hall of the Parliament of Montenegro, on 25 and 26 March 2014.     

Mr Krivokapić pointed out that the international community should guarantee sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine
