Friendship groups are formed with a view to promote relations and cooperation of the Parliament of Montenegro with the parliaments of other countries based on the principle of voluntariness. 

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić extended the following congratulatory message to the citizens who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian Calendar, Bishop of Kotor Monsignor Ilija Janjić and Archbishop of Bar Monsignor Zef Gaši:

At the continued 37^th meeting of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration, held in the afternoon, the Committee voted on the candidates for election of four members of the Judicial Council among the respectable jurists.  

Sixth and Seventh Sitting of the Second Ordinary Session in 2013 continued 

Sixteenth meeting of the Committee on European Integration, which was supposed to be held on Monday 23 December 2013, has been postponed.

The Committee voted on seven proposals for a decision.

Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration postponed the voting on the candidates for election of four members of the Prosecutorial Council among the respectable jurists; candidates for election of four members of the Judicial Council among the respectable jurists; and the Proposal of the Prosecutorial Council for election of the Supreme Public Prosecutor of Montenegro, submitted by the Prosecutorial Council.

At today’s meeting, Mr Duško Marković, Deputy Prime Minister and and Minister of Justice, presented the Sixth Report on the Realisation of the Action Plan 2013-2014 for Implementation of the Strategy for Fight Against Corruption and Organised Crime 2010-2014 to the Anti-corruption Committee as well as obligations of Montenegro in negotiations with the EU under chapters 23 and 24, previously considered by the National Commission.
