At today's 51st meeting of the Gender Equality Committee, the representative of the Association of Youth with Disabilities of Montenegro, Ms Miroslava Mima Ivanović, informed members of the Committee about comments of the Association to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Gender Equality, that is currently under parliament procedure.

Committee considered several proposals for laws

The Committe adopted the 2015 Work Plan at the 49th meeting that was held today. Under the item Current issues, members of the Committee discussed the upcoming activities and activities implemented between meetings.

Relations between Montenegro and Latvia discussed, with a focus on cooperation between two parliaments

The role of the Committee in negotiation process and significance of integration for implementing reforms in society were highlighted
