Exchanged views on introduction of quotas for the less represented gender in the electoral legislation

The interlocutors expressed satisfaction over a constructive cooperation of the two countries. 

Members of the standing delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to Parliamentary Dimension of the Central European Initiative (CEI-PD) MPs Damir Šehović and Vasilije Lalošević participated in the session of the Parliamentary Assembly, held in Budapest, within Hungarian Presidency of this initiative, in the period 24-26 September.

At the sixteenth meeting, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms considered several items of the Agenda, realising thus eighteenth, nineteenth and twelfth activity, established by the Activity Plan of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms for 2013.

Proposal for a decision and two proposals for laws considered

Members of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration and Legislative Committee met today with SIGMA Expert Team and SIGMA Expert, in the Blue Room of the Parliament of Montenegro. 

Within cooperation of the Delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the UNICEF Office in Montenegro, as a contribution to the Council of Europe Campaign to Stop Sexual Violence against Children “One in Five”, which was joined by Montenegro, a Research “Violence against Children in Montenegro – Research on Knowledge, Views and Conduct, 2013” had been implemented.
