Anti-Corruption Committee, on the meeting held today, has conducted the control hearing of the Minister of Economy, Minister of Finance, and the Director of the Public Procurement Administration on the subject of "Multi million contracts for legal and consulting services paid by the EPCG" and has adopted the following conclusions:
1. Complete material that the members of the Anti-Corruption Committee were given by the Ministry of Economy, EPCG, the Public Procurement Office was referred to the Supreme State Prosecutor, in order for him to submit information regarding these materials back to the Committee within 30 days, and in accordance with the competencies of the Supreme State Prosecutor and of the Committee. The Committee requests that the Supreme State Prosecutor in the same period of time to submit information on the actions taken regarding criminal charges that submitted by: the Party of United Pensioners and Disabled and the Network for Affirmation of Non-Governmental Sector.
2. The Committee requests the Ministry of Economy, i.e. the Government and the Privatisation Councilfor opinion about the subject of the control hearing, and on various attitudes expressed in the materials that the members of the Anti-Corruption Committee received for the meeting.
3. The Committee will submit to the Public Procurement Office the EPCG material with a request for clarification whether the contracts on consulting and other services have been in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement.
4. After receiving the information, the Committee will hold a special meeting on the same topic, and decide on the date and participants separately.
