A constitutive meeting of the Commission for conducting elections of members of the Council of Anti-corruption Agency was held today, in the following composition: Mr Predrag Bulatović and Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić on behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Dobrica Šljivančanin on behalf of the Judicial Council, Mr Slavko Lukić on behalf of the Prosecutorial Council, and Mr Zoran Vujičić among the NGOs.
The Commission noted that 10 applications were submitted in response to the Public Notice for election of members of the Council of the Anti-corruption Agency, which the Commission reviewed preliminarily. It was agreed that, at its next meeting, the Commission will determine its future manner of administration (a president will be elected or a system of rotating presidency will be put in place). Chairperson of the Anti-corruption Committee Mr Predrag Bulatović chaired the meeting, on the basis of the aforementioned Decision.
At its following meeting, the Commission will determine a list of candidates who meet the requirements for being elected members of the Council of Anti-corruption Agency, and will agree upon the dynamics of legal implementation of their election.
