Delegation of the Security and Defence Committee will participate in the Conference of the US-Adriatic Charter titled “Regional parliamentary cooperation for strengthening security and quick integration into the Euro-Atlantic institutions”, which is being held in Tirana 23-24 February 2014.

Committee on National Security of the Albanian Parliament will host the conference within the presiding of the Republic of Albania over the US-Adriatic Charter.

The topics of the meeting will include, among other things, the current issues regarding the NATO enlargement process to the Western Balkans, and the mechanisms of strengthening the parliamentary cooperation aimed at promotion of implementing reforms in the security and defence sector, as well as in other areas.

Chairperson and members of the Security and Defence Committee Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić, Mr Luiđ Ljubo Škrelja and Mr Darko Pajović will participate in the meeting.
