The aim of the Conference is to review the achievements, security challenges, coordination in work, problems and proposals and measures for strengthening the role of institutions engaged in creating a favourable security environment, and therefore greater safety in BiH and its citizens, through dialogue with representatives of institutions from the security and defence sector.

The Fifth conference “Current state of security in Bosnia and Herzegovina” is organised by the Joint Committee on Defence and Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), OSCE Mission to BiH, UNDP Office in Sarajevo and NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo.
