The sixth 2BS Forum, organised by the Atlantic Council under the auspices of the Government of Montenegro, in cooperation with the NATO, the US Embassy in Podgorica, the Balkan Trust for Democracy and the Municipality of Budva, started in Budva today.
Prime Minister of Montenegro Mr Milo Đukanović, Ambassador of the USA to Montenegro H.E. Ms Margaret Ann Uyehara, and President of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro Mr Savo Kentera spoke at the opening of the gathering. The introductory speech at the Forum was given by NATO Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Mr Alexander Vershbow.
At the following sessions, they discussed the NATO policy awaiting the upcoming summit in Warsaw, challenges of the migrant crisis and its implications on the European security, as well as the effects of the Russian politics and changes with regard to the aforementioned on the international level.
The 2BS Forum will continue tomorrow, and a member of Security and Defence Committee Mr Luiđ Ljubo Škrelja will take part in it.
