21st meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget held

Considered 29 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Electronic Communications

At their 21st meeting held today, in accordance with the Article 51 of the Law on State Audit Institution, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget established a Request for allocating budget funds to the State Audit Institution in the 2014 Budget of Montenegro.

The Committee decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt five conclusions regarding consideration of the 2012 Performance Report of the Commission for Concessions.

The Committee considered the Proposal for Conclusions submitted by the MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović regarding consideration of the 2012 Performance Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro, and got acquainted with the Proposal for Conclusions presented by the MP Mr Damir Šehović. It was agreed that the subsequent supplements may be submitted by Monday 29 July 2013, i.e. until the beginning of the 22nd meeting of the Committee. At the 22nd meeting, the Committee shall establish the final text of the conclusions.

At today’s meeting, the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Energy was established, which was prepared upon the Committee’s request regarding consideration of the Information on Conduct of Energy Entities upon the orders by the Regulatory Energy Agency, after which it was forwarded to the Parliament’s procedure.

The Committee considered 29 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Electronic Communications and decided to propose to the Parliament to accept six amendments, one out of which was in the amended version, and to reject 23 amendments.

In accordance with the Article 28 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee considered and unanimously supported the Report on Using the Funds of the Parliament for the period 1 January to 30 June 2013, also contatining the Report on Public Procurement for the said period.
