The Committee supported the Proposal for the Law on Amendment to the Law on Value Added Tax, exempting the services of games of chance and entertainment games from paying VAT. Additionally, the Committee pointed out the need to systematically regulate the state in the field of games of chance by adopting a new Law on Games of Chance and amend: the Law on Concessions and the Law on Personal Income Tax.
Upon invitation, regarding the stated Proposal for the Law, the meeting was attended by the representatives of the following: Ministry of Finance, Tax Administration, Administration for Games of Chance, Union of Employers of Montenegro, and NGOs “UPIS“ and “Montenegro Bet”, which presented their view on the Proposal for the Law on Amendment to the Law on Value Added Tax, as well as the state in the field of games of chance.
Additionally, the Committee considered proposals for conclusions regarding consideration of the 2012 Performance Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro, submitted by MPs Aleksandar Damjanović and Damir Šehović. Following the discussion, the Committee did not support the proposal for conclusions of the MP Damjanović, nor the proposal for conclusions of the MP Šehović.
