At the 23rd meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget held today, twelve amendments were considered and withdrawal of the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the 2013 Budget Law of Montenegro was announced.
Submitters of the amendments elaborated on the essence of proposed amendments, and the Minister of Finance, Mr Radoje Žugić PhD, expressed his views on which of the amendments he accepted and which ones he did not.
The Committee supported five amendments, one out of which was modified, while two amendments did not receive the Committee’s support.
Following the announcement of the Minister of Finance that the rebalance of the budget would be proposed in September, which would encompass a large number of positions, an MP Mladen Bojanić decided to withdraw his five amendments.
The discussion regarding the amendments was extended to include the issues of leading economic policy and further strategic directions of development, during which the MPs expressed their views relating to the acceptability of Rebalance of 2013 State Budget.
At the end of the discussion, the representative of proponents announced the withdrawal of the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the 2013 Budget Law of Montenegro from the parliamentary procedure.
