At the 27^th meeting held today, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Energy Law, submitted by MPs i.e. Committee members: Mr Aleksandar Damjanović, Mr Filip Vuković, Mr Damir Šehović, Mr Nebojša Medojević, Mr Strahinja Bulajić and Mr Milutin Đukanović. Submitting of amendments for the proposed Law was announced. In addition, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Electronic Commerce.

Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Direct Foreign Investments was not supported by the required majority of the Committee. Submitting of amendments for the concerned Proposal for the Law was announced.

In line with Article13, paragraph 3 of the Law on Electronic Communications and Postal Services, the Committee reached a Decision on opening a public competition for appointment of three members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (President and two members of the Council of Agency).

In consultation with the Chairperson of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, the Committee agreed on 21 October 2013 to hold a control hearing on “Public Procurements in the Health Sector”, at the joint meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget and Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare.
