At their 33rd meeting held today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered the Proposal for the Law on Interest Write-offs on Tax and Customs Duties and decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt it, under summary procedure;
Additionally, the Committee considered the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Corporate Profit Tax, as well as the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Insurance Premiums Tax, submitted by the MP Aleksandar Damjanović, and decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt them.
In accordance with the Article 137 paragraph 3 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered, in part relating to the fiscal influence, the Proposal for the Law on Old Royal Capital, submitted by the following MPs: Mr Jovan Martinović, Mr Milutin Simović, Mr Miodrag Vuković, Mr Srđa Popović, Ms Branka Tanasijević, Mr Predrag Sekulić, Ms Zorica Kovačević and Mr Milorad Vuletić.
The Committee will submit its opinion to the umbrella committee, i.e. the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration, in which, among other things, they would emphasise the need for finding a model of sustainable funding of the Old Royal Capital.
Under the item - Procedure for Appointment of the Chairperson and two Members of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Communication and Postal Services, the Committee concluded that a total of 10 candidates applied to the vacancy notice, out of which one dropped out in the meantime. The Committee also concluded that the application documents were submitted in a timely and regular manner. The Committee agreed upon the manner of work at the meeting that was scheduled for the end of the month, where they would determine the proposal of candidates for the position of the chairperson and two members.
