Director of the Energy Community Secretariat referred to history and organisational schema of the Energy Community, emphasising that this institution was founded in 2006, with the goal of creating the unique energy market.  During the meeting, Committee members were informed on directives that Energy Community member states had to respect. Additionally, main objectives of the institution relating to the establishment of the investment market, environment protection, strengthening competence at the regional level as well as strengthening security of supply were presented. During the meeting, the commitments of the third energy package containing measures that should be implemented by the energy community member states were discussed.

In addition to Committee members and Director of the Energy Community Secretariat Mr Janez Kopač, the meeting was also attended by the Chair of the Committee of the Energy Regulatory Agency Mr Branislav Prelević.
