During today’s meeting, the Committee did not support the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Financing of Political Parties, submitted by MPs Azra Jasavić, Goran Danilović and Neven Gošović. The Committee considered 38 amendments to the concerned Proposal, out of which ten had been withdrawn, three have become an integral part of the Law text, while the Parliament of Montenegro would vote on 25 amendments subsequently.
The Committee also decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Contracts for Transportation in Road Traffic.
2013 Performance Report was adopted, containing results of activities of this working body in performing legislative, oversight and representative function. The Committee held 42 meetings, lasting in total 126:50h and considered 197 items of agendas, namely: 69 proposals for laws, 100 other acts as well as 230 amendments submitted to the proposals for laws in 2013. During the discussion, it was pointed out that 347 persons participated in meetings, and the cooperation with the NGO sector has been intensified.
The Committee supported the Report on the Use of Funds of the Parliament and Parliamentary Service, for the period 1 January – 31 December 2013 together with the Report on Public Procurement and Spent Funds in the period 1 January 2013 – 31 December 2013. The Committee also stated that the Report transparently and comperhensively has presented the use of financial funds of the Parliament of Montenegro in the previous year.
