After the four-hour discussion, the Committee considered 32 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Budget and Fiscal Responsibility. The Committee supported 20 amendments, which became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law, four out of which in amended form. Two amendments were withdrawn from the parliamentary procedure, and the remaining ten did not receive the Committee’s support.
Additionally, the Committee voted on the Proposal for the Decision on control hearing of the Minister of Economy Mr Vladimir Kavarić and the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Electric Power Plant of Montenegro JSC Nikšić Mr Srđan Kovačević, submitted by the MP Srđan Milić. Following the vote, with four votes “for” and six “abstained”, the Proposal for the Decision did not receive the necessary majority.
Starting from Article 32a paragraph 6 of the Law on Financing of Political Parties, the Committee established the initial list of institutions required to submit to the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget the data and information aimed at carrying out parliamentary oversight, in accordance with the law.
In continuation of the meeting, which will be subsequently determined, the Committee will consider three legal acts submitted by the MPs Zoran Jelić, Filip Vuković, Veljko Zarubica, Marta Šćepanović and Zorica Kovačević (Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Games of Chance, Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Value Added Tax, and Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Personal Income Tax).
