In accordance with the 2014 Work Plan of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget and Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, at the 53 meeting, the Implementation of the Conclusions of the Parliament of Montenegro, No 00-72/12-2/42, of 27 December 2013, pertaining to JSC Aluminium Plant Podgorica was considered.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the following: Ministry of Economy, State Audit Institution (SAI), Trade Union Organisation of Workers in Aluminium Production Podgorica, Independent Trade Union of Bauxite Mine Workers as well as representatives of former KAP workers, who have been in pension, and who stated their opinion on the implementation of the Parliament’s conclusion, which implied the implementation of conclusions of the Parliament of Montenegro, no. 00-72/12-2/36 of 30 April 2013.

During the discussion, the participants pointed out the need for respecting law regulations, emphasising the possibility that the Committee, at the following meeting, define assessments and positions regarding the discussion held.

During the continuation of the 52nd meeting, the Committee has continued the discussion on activities related to the implementation of the parliamentary oversight over the implementation of the Law on Financing of Political Parties. Members of the Committee agreed, in the continuation of the meeting, to take position regarding certain dilemmas relating to the concerned law, with attendance of representatives of the Ministry of Finance.

In respect of the item of the agenda - Formulation of the Proposal of the Law on the Amendments to the Law on the State Audit Institution, following the explanation of President and members of the Senate of the SAI, the Committee decided, in the continuation of the meeting, with attendance of all members of the Committee, to define final text of the proposal for the Law and send it to the Parliamentary process.
